"LISBOA TRIATHLON PARADE FOR A GREEN PLANET"

We are adding a new event to the weekend!

Our goal is to take compensating actions trough our environmental partners and make our event a 100% "carbon zero". The Parade will take place on friday the 29th of April starting at 14h30 trough the main streets of Lisboa in a 20 km course. The event will take from 1h to 1h30 and will start and end next to the Triathlon finish line. The parade is open to all Triathlon and King of the Sea participants and will be done by bike only. The Parade will be escorted by the race official cars and the Lisboa Police Department.

Please make sure you are ready to go on your bike and with your helmet by 14h25 next to the Triathlon finish line.

The parade is free to all participants and we encourage everyone to join us on this important initiative to promote a "carbon zero" event.

Lisboa Triathlon and King & Queen of the Sea Europe 2011 registration opens July 7, BE THE FIRST TO REGISTER!!

In 2011 the Lisboa Triathlon and King & Queen of the Sea Europe events will take place on April 30 and May 1 (Saturday and Sunday).

The Lisboa Triathlon will be disputed in the half ironman distance as usualy and the King & Queen of the Sea event in two diferent categories, 1500 meters open race and 5000 meters elite race. We are also openning a wetsuit divison in 2011 due to the overwellming number of requests from triathletes so, in 2011, plan to stay one more day in Lisboa!

Regulations for the King of the Sea event will be available soon on a brand new King of the Sea website linked from the Lisboa Triathlon website.

Discounts for registering for both events will be available and for group registrations as well. Please remeber that SLOTS ARE LIMITED and that registration will close as soon as we reach capacity.
