The triathlon starts here!
In May 2016, Lisboa Triathlon celebrates 10 years and it's the biggest triathlon event in Portugal and one of the most renowned in all Europe, with aproximately 2.000 participants from around 40 countries.
There's a race for everyone.
On the team/relay area, we have the Corporate Challenge, with a 950m swim, 45km bike and 10.5km run. The three members teams (minimum two members) compete a company place at the podium.
For individual athletes, we have two races, the Olympic Plus - Battle of the Sexes, which is disputed on the same distance as the Corporate Challenge; and the Half-Ironman Distance, this one with 1.9km swim, 90km bike and 21.1km run.
The biggest distance has plenty to choose from in terms of divisions. You can choose to race on your age group, gathered in 4 to 4 years, starting on 20 and ending up on +65; pick the Top Gunner division, for participants in any branch of the army; the CEO division for high-ranking professionals; or even the Clydesdale division for men athletes over 90kg and women athletes over 80kg. If you're a professional athlete, you can choose the Elite division (after status confirmation).
Finally, our favorite, the Kids Aquathlon! A race with aproximately 500 children, without any registration cost. It's a race for the age groups 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, on a swim a run course, where distance change according to each age group.
